From the Hall

Inside at the Hall, Outside With the Trailer

One call for the room, and for the restrooms outside.

Pleasant Street Hall has a sister business. Restroom Trailers Co. rents climate-controlled restroom trailers for outdoor events, and the two share a phone line, so one call covers the room and the restrooms outside.

Most events only need one of the two. But a lot of the events we hear about happen partly indoors and partly out, and that is where they fit together.

Your event inside, the reception outside

The hall holds up to 75 guests, with tables and chairs included. Some days start here and finish somewhere else: a ceremony in the hall and a reception at a family farm, a memorial service indoors and the gathering afterward in a back yard, a company meeting in the morning and the cookout at a park after.

The outdoor half usually has no plumbing at all. A trailer parked at the second site gives guests real restrooms there, with running water, lights and heat or air conditioning, and nobody has to drive back into town to find one.

Ceremony outside, reception inside

Turn it around and it works the same way. A ceremony on a lawn, a farm or a spot by the water, then everyone drives into Cambridge for the reception at the hall. The trailer covers the guests standing outside for the ceremony, and the hall covers the dinner, the dancing and the long evening.

If the forecast turns, the hall is the indoor plan for the whole day.

When a full room outgrows two bathrooms

The hall has two full bathrooms. That covers a meeting, a class or a sale without anyone waiting. For a wedding or a long evening at full capacity, a restroom trailer parked alongside the building keeps the line inside short. Parking is on site, and there is room beside the hall for the trailer.

One call for both

Tell us what is happening inside and what is happening outside, and where. The hall and the trailer book through the same line, so the dates line up without two sets of calls. You can see the trailers at restroomtrailers.co, and our wedding page has more on the hall itself.
